KFC India has unleashed a digital universe for its fans called the ‘Zingerverse. The beloved purveyor of finger-lickin’ goodness is now offering fans a new experience that brings their newest Zingers and their global avatars to life through the magic of Augmented Reality (AR).
The company says that the Zingerverse AR filter is designed to “level up how fans interact with KFC’s famous Zinger’ by merging physical and digital spaces.
Last month, KFC India announced the arrival of their new Zingers with flavours ranging from spicy to classic to tandoori and beyond.
But back to the main event – the ‘Zingerverse’! This AR filter is designed to take fans’ Zinger obsession to a whole new level. By seamlessly blending the physical and digital worlds, KFC is inviting fans to step into a world where Zingers roam free and every bite is an adventure.
So, how does it work? Users can access the ‘Zingerverse’ from anywhere, anytime by simply hopping onto Instagram and letting their fingers do the walking. And for those who prefer a more hands-on approach, KFC has strategically placed QR codes at their outlets across India, making it easy to access for everyone.
But KFC isn’t stopping at just digital engagement. The Chicken snack mogul is taking things up a notch with in-store activations. Tables in select KFC outlets feature stickers that invite customers to explore the Zingerverse, enhancing their dining experience with an interactive twist. The filter will also create restaurant engagement by encouraging diners to interact with the AR experience during their visit, making meal at KFC more than just a meal.
