After the OnePlus 15 debuted the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset platform in India, iQOO came up with the second smartphone to feature Qualcomm’s flagship chip. The new phone is called the iQOO 15 and ends up offering a flagship-tier performance to the masses, just ahead of its parent brand Vivo’s launch of the X300 series of camera-centric flagships. In essence, the iQOO 15 is essentially a OnePlus 15 with a different set of cameras and an entirely different Android experience, courtesy of Vivo’s new OriginOS software.
While the specifications and features remain largely unchanged from its predecessor, here’s what you need to know about the pricing and other details of the iQOO 15.
iQOO 15 pricing and availability
The iQOO 15 will be available in two primary configurations, offered in Legend and Alpha Black colourways exclusively through Amazon.
– The base variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at Rs 72,999.
– The top variant with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage is priced at Rs 79,999.

iQOO 15 specifications at a glance
Unlike the OnePlus 15, which was meant to be an all-rounder, the iQOO 15 is designed for intense gaming and demanding applications. The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset promises significant performance improvements over the iQOO 13, including claims of over 4.18 million points on the AnTuTu benchmark, with GPU performance boosted by 23% and single-core CPU performance up by 20%. To manage this power, the device features an advanced 8K VC Cooling System with an 8,000 sq mm heat dissipation area.
The visual experience is anchored by a large 6.85-inch LTPO AMOLED display, featuring a 2K resolution and super-smooth 144Hz refresh rate. It also boasts a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and IP68 + IP69 rating for comprehensive dust and water resistance.
The iQOO 15 is powered by the newest 3nm octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, placing it at the forefront of mobile processing power. This kind of performance is paired with a large 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery that supports ultra-fast 100W wired charging, which is a tad lower on paper compared to the 7,300mAh battery and 120W charging on the OnePlus 15.
As far as the camera is concerned, the iQOO 15 includes a versatile triple-rear camera system – a 50MP Sony IMX921 primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), a 50MP telephoto periscope camera with 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide sensor. The front features a 32MP selfie camera.
On the software front, the iQOO 15 runs on Android 16-based OriginOS 6, which is Vivo’s new Android skin replacing the age-old FunTouchOS experience. iQOO is making a long-term commitment to software update, promising up to five years of Android OS upgrades and seven years of security updates.
