As all eyes are on the Apple iPhone 16 event scheduled to take place this September, here’s a bunch of updates that you might expect to see.
According to reports, the iPhone 16 launch event might take place during the first two weeks of September. Some have pegged a 10 September timeline. However, the exact date is yet to be announced by Apple.
Here’s the full list of devices Apple is expected to launch this year:
iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max: The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro max might come up with a larger display. This could include a 6.3 inches pro model which was 6.1 last year. Also you can get a 6.9 inches pro max, an upgrade of the 6.7 inches from last year. Additionally, you can get a camera upgrade with an improved ultrawide camera, a better low light camera and about 5X camera zoom.
iPhone 16 and 16 plus: The iPhone 16 and 16 plus might get an A18 pro chip, just like the pro max and pro models. They can also include a specific hardware button for controlling camera features. We can also expect new colour options.
AirPods 4: Speculations suggest that Apple plans to introduce two different AirPods 4 models. These models can get premium features with an affordable price range. The AirPods can also come up with an upgraded USB-C charging case, looking somewhat a combination of AirPods 3 and AirPods Pro.
AirPods Max 2: As far as AirPods Max 2 is concerned, leaks suggest that it can get features such a conversation awareness, personalised audio and adaptive audio, just like the AirPods Pro 2.
Apple Watch Series 10: The Apple Watch Series 10 might get an upgraded size. The device case might get reduced and you can expect a slimmer model. Health sensors for identifying sleep apnea and hypertension are also expected to get added.
Apple Watch Ultra 3: The Apple Watch Ultra can get a faster working chip that will be more comparable with artificial intelligence (AI)-powered features. However, not much has been known about the updates this year.
M4 iMac: Speculations are there that Apple can come up with M4 iMac by the end of 2024. It might not get a redesign but is expected to get accessories for the USB-C chargers.
M4 MacBook Pro: This fall you might expect new MacBook Pro models. These models can feature M4 Max, M4 Pro and M4.
iPad Mini 7: Apple is planning to upgrade the display of its iPad Mini 7. It might add an upgraded chip and remove jelly scrolling. The chip might be an M-class chip for being compatible with Apple Intelligence.
Other highlights
Other leaks suggest that Apple can introduce Apple TV 4k with an upgraded chip and a HomePod having an LCD display on the top. The date for launch is expected to be by the end of 2024.
