Instagram, the popular social media tool for photo sharing has seen a lot of updates in the recent times. However, in a recent update, Instagram has decided to fix a problem that will bring a sigh of relief for many. It has come to light that Instagram has started to roll out a new feature that notifies users when someone takes a screenshot or records screen of their Story posts. How this feature will work is that Instagram will put a star or a star-shaped icon to the person’s profile who took a screenshot of your Stories. To know who has taken a screenshot of your story all you need to do is to head towards the Stories section fo the Instagram and you will be able to see star mark next to the profile of the person who has taken a screenshot of your Story. It is also reported that Instagram will give you a notification for the first time when someone takes a screenshot.
The new warning in Instagram reads: “Next time you take a screenshot or screen recording, the person who posted the story will be able to see it.” This new warning has come up on Instagram which is titled as ‘Screenshots in stories’. However, there is a way to get past this feature. If you try to take a screenshot in the aeroplane mode, you will bypass this feature. A few users took to Twitter and shared posts related to this new Instagram feature:

Earlier, it was reported by TheNextWeb that Instagram is working on notifying the users if someone takes a screenshot of a new update which could be rolled out soon. Also, Instagram came up with a new feature in November 2016 which would notify the user if anyone takes a screenshot of their Direct Messages (DM).
Meanwhile, Instagram is testing a new feature that will allow users to have video calling feature in the Direct message. So, in the coming update, you can expect that you will be able to make a video call via Instagram. As per WABetaInfo, a picture of the new feature surfaced. However, multiple reports state that Instagram is still working on this new feature.
