Dussehra release Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari is all set for its digital premiere, less than two months after its theatrical release. While the Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor-starrer opened amid a lot of expectations on October 2 during the festive season, it failed to mint money at the box office. On the other hand, Rishab Shetty’s Kantara Chapter 1 drew huge crowds to the theatres, with the film giving even Diwali releases a run for their money, and turning out to be the biggest hit of the year, beating the likes of Chhaava, Saiyaara and Housefull 5.
The Shashank Khaitan’s directorial venture opened on a strong note, with over Rs 9 crore at the box office, but couldn’t sustain its momentum in the weekdays as the earnings stood at Rs 70.17 crore India net, at the end of its 43-day run in the theatres. Coming from the director of Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania, audiences expected slightly more.
Here’s when the film is releasing digitally.
