Apple’s top-end iPhone 16 Pro Max, introduced in 2024, is now available in India at a massive price slash, turning it into one of the most appealing premium smartphones on the market. The deal is being offered by Vijay Sales, which has announced a straight price reduction combined with extra bank discounts and EMI payment options.
iPhone 16 Pro Max sale:
In India, the iPhone 16 Pro Max with 1TB storage was initially listed at Rs 1,84,900. Vijay Sales has now reduced the price to Rs 1,72,500, giving buyers an immediate cut of Rs 12,400 (around 7%). Additionally, those opting for EMI payments via HSBC Bank credit cards can secure an extra concession of Rs 7,500, bringing the overall benefit to more than Rs 19,000.
iPhone 17 Pro Max specifications:
The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max feature 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch ProMotion LTPO OLED panels, each capable of delivering up to 1,600 nits peak brightness. Powering the devices is Apple’s A18 Pro processor, built on a 64-bit design and paired with a 16-core Neural Engine for advanced AI tasks.
For photography, both models include a 48MP main sensor, a 48MP ultra-wide camera, and a 12MP telephoto lens offering 5x optical zoom. Up front, users get a 12MP front-facing camera, identical to the one found on the standard iPhone 16.
Apple’s iPhone 17 lineup officially hit the shelves on September 19, following the announcement made at its Awe-dropping launch event. The new models are now available through Apple’s retail outlets as well as its online store.
For 2025, the company has applied a modest price hike across the range. The base iPhone 17 carries a starting tag of Rs 82,900, while the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max are listed at Rs 1,34,900 and Rs 1,49,900, respectively. Compared to U.S. pricing, the Indian variants continue to be noticeably more expensive.
