With festive season starting in India, Navratri to Diwali, can mega sales on ecommerce majors like Flipkart, Snapdeal and Amazon be far behind? With much hue and cry, each e-retailer is trying its best to outdo the other in their bid to woo customers with heavy ‘exclusive’ discounts and deals on phones and more. While both Flipkart and Amazon have started their ‘Big Billion Days’ and ‘Great Indian Festive Sale’ offers from today, Snapdeal sought to grab the initiative, and the low hanging fruit, to be the first out of the sales blocks by launching its ‘Electronics Monday’ offers a day earlier.
A number of deals, discounts and offers are being bandied about by Flipkart, Snapdeal and Amazon. And, while Snapdeal’s ‘Electronics Monday’ sale may be over, in which the company claims it sold a sensational ‘5 phones per second’, its Diwali sale is still running and has several deals in smartphone segment too.
