In the United States, a man turned to artificial intelligence to track down his high-end vehicle that had gone missing for two years. Reports indicate that Andrew’s Lamborghini Huracan Evo was taken by renters who failed to return nearly two dozen luxury cars. The group is also accused of falsifying documents, altering ownership records, and reselling the vehicles under new identities.

Although officials succeeded in recovering several of the other vehicles, Andrew’s Lamborghini remained unaccounted for. The situation shifted when he got a direct message on Instagram containing recent photos of the car and a question about whether he had sold it. The individual making the inquiry was able to contact Garcia after finding a business card inside the vehicle, assuming he was still in the market to sell additional supercars.

Afterward, Garcia launched his own search effort. He fed the photographs into ChatGPT and paired the results with Google’s location tools.

Garcia told CBS 8 that the AI system generated enough clues for him to pinpoint the vehicle’s location. Andrew subsequently notified the police, who tracked down the car and confirmed through records that it belonged to him.

Once the spot was identified, law enforcement moved in, recovered the Lamborghini Huracan Evo, and officially verified it as Garcia’s missing vehicle.

Huracan made its world debut in 2014:

The Lamborghini Huracan first appeared on the global stage in 2014 with the coupe model, soon joined by the Spyder and rear-wheel-drive variants. The Performante launched in 2016, followed by the Performante Spyder in 2018, showcasing exceptional performance and setting multiple lap records.

In 2019, Lamborghini unveiled the Huracan EVO in both coupe and Spyder formats, featuring an upgraded V10 engine and improved aerodynamics for a more dynamic driving experience.

The Huracan STO (Super Trofeo Omologata) debuted in 2021, bringing Lamborghini’s racing expertise to a street-legal vehicle. This was followed by the Huracan Tecnica in 2022 and then the Huracan Sterrato, Lamborghini’s first all-terrain V10 supercar equipped with all-wheel drive, combining off-road capability with high-performance engineering.
