Microsoft has come up with a few new features and upgrades for its AI-powered tool Copilot. In an official blog it explained that it will be adding vision and voice capabilities. The company further said that it aims to make Copilot as a ‘more personalized’ AI assistant.
As soon as Copilot was launched, people seemed to have loved this product. To improve its user experience, the tech giant will be bringing in ChatGPT-like features. Here’s a look at the new updates.
Microsoft upgrades Copilot
Microsoft will be bringing a bunch of new AI–powered features. In addition to this it also plans to change the look of Copilot. According to the blog “Copilot now looks unlike anything I’ve seen from Microsoft before, with an interface that is a big departure from what exists right now,” Mustafa Suleyman, CEO Microsoft AI, explained. He also said that the Copilot Discover page will be made more personalized . The company will be customizing the Copilot homepage according to your chat history. Also relevant search options and tips according to your need will be added on in future.
In addition to customization, the star updates are Copilot Voice, Think deeper and Copilot Vision. These features will be quite similar to some of ChatGPT’s features. Given below is a detailed description of the features.
- Copilot Voice: Now you will be able to connect with Copilot in a much easier way. It will be adding a voice feature. This will allow you to have a more natural conversation with Copilot. You can ask questions or even discuss any topic. It’s more like having discussions with your friend.
- Think deeper: Guess what? Copilot can now reason through more complicated questions. The Think Deeper feature will be similar to the OpenAI o1model. Think Deeper will be giving you a step-by-step answer to complex questions. This might take time but you will get a detailed explanation of your critical questions.
- Copilot Vision: With this feature you can get real-time suggestions on your feed. For example you are searching for new clothes, the feature can suggest you how to style the cloth. Moreover, Copilot vision can track your feed and keep suggesting related to your feed.
Other updates
Furthermore, other updates include Copilot daily and personalized discovery. Copilot daily can give you daily updates such as weather status and read it aloud. You can also personalize content with the help of this feature.
On the other hand, personalized discovery helps you to give guidance if you are new to Copilot. For example, if you don’t know how to use the features of Copilot then this feature will guide you where to start and how you can customize things.
