Apple has raised the prices of some of its subscription services in the US and select international markets, but not in India. The price hike has been applied across several services of Apple including Apple TV Plus, Apple Arcade, Apple News Plus and Apple One. The Apple TV+ subscription still costs Rs 99 per month in India.

The price of Apple TV+ has increased to $9.99 per month, up from the previous $6.99. Apple Arcade and Apple News Plus have also seen price hikes, to $6.99 per month and $12.99 per month, respectively.

The price increases have also affected Apple’s subscription bundles, Apple One. The Individual plan now costs $19.95 per month, up from $16.95 per month, the Family plan costs $25.95 per month, up from $22.95 per month, and the Premier plan costs $37.95 per month, up from $32.95 per month.

Apple representative Bernadette Simpao has officially verified these changes in a statement to The Verge. Simpao said that the price adjustments will take effect for current subscribers 30 days later, coinciding with their subsequent renewal date. Apple is implementing price increases in specific international markets. The company is expected to send out emails to current subscribers informing them about the price increase.

Apple increased the prices for some of its services like Apple Music, Apple TV Plus, and Apple One about a year ago. Now, it seems that Apple is not raising the prices for its Music, Fitness Plus, or iCloud Plus subscriptions this time.

Apple’s decision not to raise the prices of its subscription services in India is a sign that the company is serious about growing its presence in the country. India is one of the largest smartphone markets in the world, and Apple is eager to gain a bigger share of the pie.
