Apple is slowly but steadily expanding it’s physical offline presence in India. Days after it announced plans to launch a new retail store in Bengaluru, Apple recently said it will open another one in Pune. While the Apple Hebbal store in Bengaluru will be launched on September 2, Apple Koregaon Park in Pune will be opened on September 4. The offline expansion comes two-and-a-half years after the iPhone maker opened its first brand store in Mumbai, Apple BKC, and Apple Saket in New Delhi within the same week. Apple Koregaon Park will be the iPhone maker’s second store in Maharashtra.

Expanding retail presence in India

Customers will be able to shop Apple’s full product range, access official support and services, and participate in free ‘Today at Apple’ sessions covering photography, music, art, and coding. The store’s barricade design, inspired by peacock feathers—India’s national bird—symbolises cultural pride, echoing the artwork used for Apple Hebbal, the firm said.

With these launches, Apple’s retail network in India expands to four stores, offering services such as specialist support, ‘genius bar’ consultations, and complimentary engraving, alongside newer features like ‘shop with a specialist over video’. Apple anticipates operating six stores across the country by the end of 2025, though it has yet to reveal the locations of the remaining two stores.
