Apple launched the iPhone 16 series in India on Monday, September 9. As expected, last year’s models, aka the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, have received a price cut post the Apple event. The price drop is significant, too, to the tune of almost Rs 10,000. The revised pricing is effective on the Apple online store at the time of writing. Expect online players like Flipkart and Amazon to sell them even cheaper.
The iPhone 15 128GB variant which was previously selling for Rs 79,600 is now available for Rs 69,900 (down Rs 9,700). The 256GB and 512GB models have also received a price cut and are now selling for Rs 79,900 and Rs 99,900 down Rs 9,700 from their earlier prices of Rs 89,600, Rs 1,09,600 respectively.
The iPhone 15 Plus is available for Rs 79,900 for 128GB, Rs 89,900 for 256GB and Rs 1,09,900 for 512GB. Previously, it was selling for Rs 89,600, Rs 99,600, and Rs 1,19,600.

The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus aren’t the only iPhones to get revised pricing. Apple has also lowered the prices of the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus. The iPhone 14 128GB variant now starts at Rs 59,900 while the 128GB iPhone 14 Plus can be snagged for just Rs 69,900.
As is usually the case, the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max have been discontinued, after the launch of the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max.

The iPhone 16 comes in a choice of 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB at a price of Rs 79,900, Rs 89,900, and Rs 1,09,900. The iPhone 16 Plus which is available in the same memory configurations, is priced at Rs 89,900 (128GB), Rs 99,900 (256GB), Rs 1,11,900 (512GB), respectively.
The iPhone 16 Pro comes in 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB for Rs 1,19,900, Rs 1,29,900, Rs 1,49,900, and Rs 1,69,900. The iPhone 16 Pro Max starts at Rs 1,44,900 for 256GB while the 512GB and 1TB variants are priced at Rs 1,64,900 and Rs 1,84,900. General availability is pegged for September 20, 2024.
