Anthropic, a prominent player in the field of artificial intelligence, has launched its latest OpenAI competitor dubbed as Claude 3.5 Sonnet. This new AI chatbot is available for free on Anthropic’s website, Claude.ai, and the Claude iOS app.
Those subscribing to the Claude Pro and Team plans will get higher rate limits. Additionally, the model can be accessed through Anthropic’s API, Amazon Bedrock, and Google Cloud’s Vertex AI.
Claude 3.5 Sonnet is designed to perform a wide range of advanced tasks like answering complex questions, understanding detailed information at a graduate-level, and coding. It can also generate, edit, and execute code autonomously. The model operates at a significantly faster speed compared to previous versions, claims the maker.
Anthropic has also introduced “Artifacts” with Claude 3.5 Sonnet, allowing users to generate various types of content like code snippets or text documents. These artifacts are displayed in a dedicated workspace, enabling real-time editing and collaboration.
Anthropic plans to expand the capabilities of Claude 3.5 with upcoming releases like Claude 3.5 Haiku and Claude 3.5 Opus. These advancements aim to improve the intelligence and usability of these AI chatbots across different industries.
Anthropic recently launched its first enterprise offering called Team, following extensive development and beta-testing with 30 to 50 customers in sectors like technology, finance, law, and healthcare.
