Android 16 features
The new Material 3 Expressive UI in Android 16 brings a range of flexible and interactive design elements to the operating system. It features lively buttons that animate with subtle movements upon touch, along with app controls that are now more vibrant and visually engaging compared to the simpler, more static designs of earlier versions.
When it comes to apps, Google has added some extra polish in Android 16 to enhance their performance as well. While this change won’t be immediately noticeable—since developers will need time to implement it—it’s a promising concept. Dubbed “Adaptive Apps,” the feature encourages developers to design their applications to seamlessly adjust across multiple screen sizes, rather than being limited to a single format.
