Adobe announced the introduction of a set of new firefly tools for Photoshop and Illustrator. According to an official blog both Photoshop and Illustrator will have AI-enabled features, powered by Firefly. The new update introduces an all-new Selection Brush Tool and the general availability of ‘generate image’ and ‘adjustment brush’ tools.
Adobe further claimed that the new innovations in Illustrator and Photoshop are built directly into designers’ existing workflows.
Adobe Firefly introduces a new set of tools
Adobe explained that from ideation to production, the new release of Illustrator can unlock new ways for pro designers and illustrators to more easily and quickly bring their vision to life across brand graphics, logos and icons, product packaging, marketing deliverables and pattern creation.
So what are the new tools and can you be benefitted? Given below is how the new update can change your experience:
- The All-new Generative Shape Fill in Illustrator aims to empower designers to quickly add detailed vectors to shapes. With this you can add your own unique style for concept ideation or more detail in existing artwork and designs.
- With the Enhanced Text to Pattern in Illustrator, you can fasten your creative process. This can empower designers to ideate, create and scale customized vector patterns across design projects using simple text prompts.
- The Style Reference in Illustrator helps you to quickly edit and scale vector graphic creations. In addition to this the feature also includes editing of subjects, scenes and icons, in your own unique style.
- Now you can remove the blank page by jumpstarting ideation and creation with the Generate Image in Photoshop. Addition to this you can also get new levels of creative control directly in Photoshop, powered by Adobe Firefly Image 3 Model.
- Lastly, the Enhance Detail in Generative Fill in Photoshop helps you to deliver greater sharpness and detail in large size image formats.
What’s in for you
The latest Firefly Vector Model (beta) is now available in Adobe Illustrator powering Generative Shape Fill (beta), Text to Pattern (beta) and Style Reference. In addition to this other innovations such as Mockup (beta), Dimension Tool, Retype, Enhanced Pan and Zoom and Contextual Taskbar are also available from today in the Illustrator app.
