Yahoo Finance has recently released a list of the top 10 countries where iOS is the go-to option or has the biggest market share compared to Android or Huawei’s HarmonyOS which is based on AOSP (Android Open Software Project).
10 countries where iOS dominates the smartphone market
10. Denmark
Denmark has the tenth highest market share when it comes to iOS vs Android or Android-based phone OS. Apple iOS has 61.62 per cent market share, as opposed to Android’s 37.87 per cent.
9. Jersey
Jersey records 63.91 per cent iOS market share, as opposed to Android which has a 35.38 per cent market share.
8. Guernsey
A part of the British Isles, situated in the west of Cotentin Peninsula, Guernsey ranks 8th with 64.54 per cent as opposed to Android’s 35.28 per cent market share.
7. Andorra
Here, iOS has a market share of 68.98 per cent whereas the Android market share is estimated at about 30.63 per cent.
6. Japan
The home and hub of technologies! Japan comes in 6th position with 69.22 per cent iOS market share while for Android it is 30.63 per cent.
5. Tokelau
It has the fifth highest iOS market share with over 75.54 per cent of people using iOS compared to Android’s 24.46 per cent.
4. American Samoa
It has the fourth highest iOS market share with iOS’s 92.16 per cent market share as opposed to Android’s 7.82 per cent market share.
3. Faroe Islands
It comes at the third position in terms of iOS dominant market, with iOS’s 91.77 per cent opposed to Android’s 8.18 per cent.
2. North Korea
Do you believe North Korea stands in second position where iOS largely dominates the market with 97.28 per cent share as opposed to Android’s 2.72 per cent.
1. Bermuda
Bermuda, notably, is the biggest iOS market in terms of smartphone OS ratio in the market. iOS has 97.47 per cent market as opposed to Android’s 2.5 per cent.
