As Hrithik Roshan’s War 2 releases today alongside Jr NTR and Kiara Advani, we take a look at his ultra-luxurious Mumbai home. While his fans are elated to see him, it is his swanky haven we are talking about, because who doesn’t like a home tour of a Bollywood star? His luxurious Juhu residence, a sea-facing property costs Rs 100 crore, and it has everything one can think of. Step inside Hrithik Roshan’s sea-facing bungalow.
Inside Hrithik Roshan’s house
Situated on the Juhu-Versova Link Road, Hrithik’s three-storey home stretches across the 14th, 15th, and 16th floors of Mannat Apartments. Built by merging 46 individual flats of 800 sq ft each, the home spans across impressive 38,000 sq ft. “Building this home was about discovering myself. I wanted to explore what would manifest on the outside if I went by what I felt inside,” Hrithik shared with AD.
The interiors boast an easy, coastal charm, enhanced by the ocean breeze drifting in from the Arabian Sea. The den adjoining the living area serves as the Roshan boys’ playground, complete with a foosball table, billiards setup, and a chocolate vending machine. Yes, you read that right!
The space also doubles as Hrithik’s work zone, stacked with scripts and filmmaking books, and features a striking graffiti mural by Daku, often called the “Banksy of India.” One wall hides a playful twist, “There are two sides to every story” is printed in reverse, visible only through a mirror.
Quirky sayings, from Latin mottos to Hrithik’s own musings, dot the walls. Hrithik said, “There’s a child in me… I love to be interrupted when I’m thinking. When I think, I tend to walk a lot. So when I’m stuck in a loop, I’ll read something and switch my train of thought. It’s terrific.”
A family-oriented space
In true free-spirited style, the Roshans have no designated dining area. “Sometimes, we’ll have breakfast right in the middle of the living room or on the terrace or in my bedroom,” Hrithik says, explaining that it’s his way of teaching his children to “think outside the box.”
The home’s décor draws inspiration from the sea, travel, and family memories. Furniture has been sourced from Dubai stores like Aati and Nautica, as well as his former sister-in-law’s brand Simone. The house also has nautical touches, from driftwood stools to a miniature sailboat, that blend with fine art, including works by Desmond Lazaro. Yet, the vibe of the house remains relaxed and welcoming. “I love it when people mess the place up,” Hrithik admits. “A home tied up in rules is not really a home. A home is about people feeling like they can be themselves, relax, kick off their shoes.”
