Known as the Golden Voice of India, Shantanu Mukherjee or Shaan is a playback singer, television host, and composer. Shan’s career spans over two decades in the music industry, in which he is known for his marvelous voice and has given various hit songs throughout his career. Apart from his illustrious career, the singer is now making headlines for purchasing a lavish property in Prabhachiwadi, Pune, worth Rs 10 crore. As per a document review by Square Yards, the property was registered in March 2025. The property investment is made by both Shaan and his wife, Radhika Mukherjee.
The porch property expands over 4,787.92 square yards, with a built-up area of around 5,500 square feet. The purchase also added a registration fee of Rs 30,000 and a stamp duty payment of Rs 50 lakh. As per Square Yards, it’s fantastic near major transport routes like the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, which ensures great connectivity to the metropolitan city of Pune and industrial locations around it.
The renowned singer currently lives in a cozy house in Bandra, Mumbai. His apartment is situated on the 7th floor of Warden Apartment Complex, near Turner Road in Bandra West. The price of his current house is estimated to be around Rs 40,000 to Rs 45,000 per square foot, with an area of 4,500 square feet.
Shaan has won several awards throughout his career, along with two Filmfare Awards and three international Indian Film Academy Awards. In 2002, Shaan won the MTV Asia Music Award for best solo album Tanha Dil.
