Savitri Jindal’s early life and career
Born in Tinsukia, Assam, in a Hindu family, Savitri Jindal married Om Prakash Jindal in the 1970s. He is the man behind the Jindal Group, a steel and power conglomerate. For the unversed, she was a Minister in the Haryana Government and a member of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha (Legislative Assembly) from Hisar constituency.
