India’s booming creator economy has produced several multiple-crore digital entrepreneurs, with comedian Tanmay Bhat leading the list as the richest YouTuber in India, according to a ranking by Tech Informer, which is based on data from MyJar Blog.

The list highlights the growing economic power of India’s creator ecosystem, where YouTube channels across media like lifestyle, tech, and comedy have developed into high-revenue digital businesses. Tech Informer, in a post on social media, stated, “Content creation in India has grown into a multi-crore industry from comedy to tech, education to lifestyle, creators are building huge audiences and wealth, proving how powerful the digital economy has become.’’

Top Indian YouTubers as per net worth

As per the Tech Informer’s data, Tanmay Bhat, famous for his comedy shows, podcasts, and collaborations, tops the list with an estimated net worth of Rs 665 crore.

He is followed by Gaurav Chaudhary, widely known as Technical Guruji, whose tech-review channel has collected a net worth of Rs 356 crore.

Comedian Samay Raina, well-known stand-up artist and chess streamer, is on the third rank with Rs 140 crore, whereas CarryMinati (Ajey Nagar), one of India’s most followed creators, is positioned on the fourth slot with Rs 131 crore.

The top five ranking also include Bhuvan Bam (BB Ki Vines) with Rs 122 crore, while other prominent names are Amit Bhadana (Rs 80 crore), Triggered Insaan (Rs 65 crores), Dhruv Rathee (Rs 60 crore), BeerBiceps’ Ranveer Allahbadia (Rs 58 crore) and Sourav Joshi (Rs 50 crore) comprises the top ten list.

India’s digital creators’ economy is on the rise

The list highlights the transformation of YouTube content creation into a structured, high-value industry. Creators are earning through multiple streams by doing live events, collaborating with brands, revenue from ads, and merchandise.

Industry analysts, as per an EY report, estimate India’s digital influencer market to surpass Rs 3,000 crore by 2026, driven by the country’s growing internet penetration and Gen-Z viewership.

As per the data, Indian YouTubers are now commanding wealth in comparison to mainstream entertainment figures.
