Hrithik Roshan has rented out his luxurious Mumbai apartment to girlfriend Saba Azad for Rs 75,000 per month. The sea-facing property is located along the Juhu Versova Link Road and spans 12,000 sq ft. The actor had purchased three floors in the building five years ago for Rs 97.5 crore.
Low rent?
Data accessed by Zapkey indicated that Saba Singh Grewal (better known by her stage name) was paying him a monthly rent of Rs ,75,000 for the apartment. The amount is significantly lower than typical rates in the area — especially for luxury or sea-facing homes. According to an HT.com report quoting local brokers, market rent for even 1,000–1,300 sq ft 3BHK apartments typically range between Rs 1 lakh and Rs 2 lakh per month. The leave and license agreement was signed at the beginning of August and also recorded a deposit of Rs 1.25 lakh.
The home is located Mannat Apartments (Vartamaan) where Roshan had reportedly purchased three floors in 2020. Previous reports suggest that T-Series has also bought an apartment in the same building for Rs 25 crore in November 2021. Icertis co-founder Monish Darda had also purchased a 3,055 sq ft sea-facing apartment in the Vartamaan tower for Rs 37.98 crore in 2023.
Earlier reports indicate that Roshan had purchased the units from Bandra-based builder Samir Bhojwani — executing two registration documents. He owns the 18th floor of the building as well as a duplex on the 19th and 20th floors.
War 2 and other projects
The actor is currently basking in the success of War 2 as it moves increasingly closer to the Rs 350-crore mark worldwide. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, ‘War 2’ brings back Hrithik Roshan as Major Kabir against a new enemy, Vikram (played by Jr NTR). Kiara Advani has also joined the cast as Hrithik’s love interest and a soldier.
