Sweets hold a special place in the hearts of Indians, becoming an integral part of celebrations and everyday life. Among the renowned names in the realm of traditional Indian sweets is Hira Sweets, a culinary institution that originated as an ambitious entrepreneurial dream in 1912.

Today, it stands as a leading player in the market, cherished by thousands for its delectable offerings. Paras Sharma, the Managing Director, continues the legacy and propels the business to new heights.

Founded by Pt. Hira Lal Sharma, hailed as the ‘master chef’ of their confectionery business, Hira Sweets began as a single outlet in Shahdara, on the outskirts of Delhi. Over the years, it has transformed into the largest sweet manufacturing unit in the country, capturing the hearts of both longstanding patrons and new customers.

In 1982, Hira Sweets expanded to Rohtash Nagar, introducing a specialized store focused on traditional desi ghee sweets and meal offerings. Shri Ram Babu Sharma furthered the family’s success by establishing another outlet in Laxmi Nagar in 2004.

The popularity of the Sh. Ram Babu Sharma’s group led to the creation of additional Hira Sweets landmarks, including outlets in Connaught Place (2012), Janakpuri (2015), and Noida and Indirapuram (2016).

From its humble beginnings, the business has evolved to encompass a diverse range of products, including savoury Indian snacks, basic meals, and even ice creams. Paras Sharma, armed with ambition and vision, has played a pivotal role in elevating this legacy business to new horizons.

Under his leadership, Hira Sweets has solidified its position as one of the foremost retail F&B groups, earning widespread recognition and popularity.

Paras Sharma, the Managing Director, brings not only a degree from Delhi University but also a Bachelor’s in B.I.T and an MBA to the table. His contribution to the business expansion is evident, with Hira Sweets boasting an ISO 22000-2005 certified production operation and a corporate office in Delhi, supported by a dedicated team of employees.

According to The Economic Times, the brand’s authorized capital is Rs 100 lakhs, with 50.0% paid-up capital amounting to Rs 50.0 lakhs. Hira Sweets remains committed to crafting sweets not only with pure ghee but also infused with a generous dose of love, making it a cherished favourite among every Delhiite.
