The musical pair in their early 30s tied the knot in a romantic California wedding ceremony pulled straight out of a fairy tale. As the “Made in the USA” hit-maker walked down the aisle on Sunday, May 25, all eyes were on her custom “pearl white” Vivienne Westwood gown with heavy silk satin fabric and a corset bodice, according to Vogue. But now, the internet is all sorts of curious about her husband.

The couple went public with their romance in August 2022 after first crossing paths in the studio in January 2022 as they joined forces for Demi’s album “Holy Fvck.” Over a year later, Jordan Lutes, aka Jutes, went down on one knee, promising the former Disney star happy ever after, “in a personal and intimate proposal” on December 16, 2023, as per People. Earlier that year, the couple made their red carpet debut at Clive Davis’ Pre-Grammy Gala.

Jump to Feb 2025, Lovato spent Valentine’s Day gushing about her fellow musician beau, declaring that she could not wait to marry him. “The past 3 years have been the best 3 years of my life and I have you to thank for that,” she shared via an Instagram post. “I’m obsessed with your heart, your love and your light. I can’t wait to grow old with you and start a family together. Happy Valentine’s Day to the love of my life. I love you honey!!!”

The pair didn’t rush to get married when they first crossed paths. Starting off as “friends first and foremost,” they took their time form a bond. Even Lovato previously highlighted that it took a “couple of months” for their heartstrings to get romantically entangled. Cut to July 2024, they welcomed their “new son,” a small dog named Pickle, into their lives.

As already established, Jutes shares his passion for music with his now-wife Demi Lovato. He is originally from Ottawa, Canada. In a previous interview with Nuance Magazine, he spilled that prior to his switch to the musical path, he studied film and played basketball.

As an artist who was once signed to Capitol Records, he eventually decided to pursue his “own independent artist goals.” Merely two years after joining the label, he chose to craft his own path due to “Covid mad budgets.” The unlikely break-up between him and Capitol ultimately worked out in his favour as he had been wishing to go indie again for a while and always preferred to be in charge of his own career.

In addition to their musical ties, Jutes also shares open-hearted confessions about his sobriety journey in common with Demi. “Learning to cope with my anxiety properly was something i was always too scared to try,” he wrote in an X post in July 22 while celebrating 100 days of being sober. “Took a long time to be ready but i’ve never felt better mentally and emotionally. if ur dealing with s— rn that feels never ending just know nothing lasts forever.”

Appearing on the PodcastOne podcast LadyGang in September 2023, the Disney alum bared her heart about her first interaction with Jutes. “I texted my friends and was like, ‘Oh my God, the hottest guy just walked in. I am so nervous. I don’t know what to do with myself’,” she said.
