War 2 Box Office Collection Day 13: The box office clash between Rajinikanth’s Coolie and Hrithik Roshan–Jr NTR’s War 2 is still grabbing attention, but the action drama from Yash Raj Films has started weakening at the box office. Despite opening with blockbuster numbers, War 2 has slowed down considerably in its second week, while Coolie continues to stay ahead in the race.

War 2 Box Office Collection Day 13

Directed by Ayan Mukerji, War 2 recorded another fall on its 13th day. According to early estimates from industry tracker Sacnilk, the film collected just Rs 2.32 crore net across India on Tuesday, August 26. This takes its 13-day total to Rs 226.82 crore.

The film’s journey has been mixed. It opened with a massive Rs 52 crore on Day 1, led strongly by the Hindi market (Rs 29 crore) and the Telugu market (Rs 22.75 crore). Day 2 saw its highest single-day earnings with Rs 57.85 crore. However, the film’s collections dipped soon after. Saturday and Sunday of the opening weekend brought in Rs 33.25 crore and Rs 32.65 crore, but Monday saw a steep fall to Rs 8.75 crore.

By the end of Week 1, War 2 had earned an impressive Rs 204.25 crore, with Hindi contributing Rs 150.4 crore, Telugu Rs 52.2 crore, and Tamil Rs 1.65 crore. The second weekend saw a dip but also some recovery, with Friday at Rs 4 crore, Saturday at Rs 6.85 crore, and Sunday at Rs 7.25 crore. However, weekday collections in Week 2 have been disappointing as day 12 brought in Rs 2.15 crore and Day 13 fell further to Rs 2.75 crore. This brings the film’s total net in India to Rs 227.25 crore so far.

War 2 Box Office Collection across languages

On Tuesday, War 2 experienced limited audience turnout across cinemas. The Hindi version recorded 11.58 per cent occupancy across shows, while the Telugu version fared slightly better at 13.60 per cent. These figures reflect a steady drop in audience turnout during weekdays, after a strong opening run.

War 2: About the film

Despite the slowdown, War 2 remains one of the year’s biggest openers. Starring Hrithik Roshan reprising his role as Kabir, alongside Jr NTR and Kiara Advani, the film adds a new chapter to YRF’s ambitious Spy Universe. The post-credit sequence teasing Alpha further builds anticipation for upcoming installments after Pathaan and the Tiger franchise.

With Rajinikanth’s Coolie already ahead at Rs 263 crore, the coming weekend will be crucial for War 2 to regain momentum and close the gap.
