Thamma Box Office Collection Day 4: Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna’s Thamma has made big waves at the box office. The couple’s journey between the natural and supernatural has been successful in drawing the audience. Headlining the Indian vampire comeback, Nawazuddin Siddiqui plays the titular role and adds spook throughout the film.
Adding to Maddock’s horror-comedy universe, Thamma had the biggest opening after Stree 2. However, this sudden dip in sales by nearly 77% on its first Friday brings an unexpected turn of events. Mixing horror and humour, Thamma’s viral song, Poison Baby, featuring Malaika Arora and Tamannaah Bhatia, has garnered over 50 million views since its release.
Thamma Collection Day 4: Box Office Update
After an impressive Rs 24 crore opening day in India, Thamma won a lot of hearts. Fans of the Maddock multiverse could not wait for this Diwali 2025 release as they reached the halls in decent numbers. On the second day, Thamma grossed Rs 18.6 crore, while the Day 3 box office collection for Thamma dipped by 30% to touch Rs 13 crore. The worldwide gross by Day 3 came up to nearly Rs 65 crore.
Thamma remained a strong performer on its first Friday, even after a three-day festive show. A slight dip of 24% was marked by single-digit collections of Rs 9.55 crore, as per industry tracker Sacnilk. This has taken the domestic collection for the Ayushmann-Rashmika horror-comedy to Rs 65.15 crore so far.
Thamma Box Office Collection Day 4: Occupancy rates
With little to no audience in morning shows, Thamma had an overall occupancy rate of 13.63% on its first Friday. The numbers hovered below the 20% mark, and urban regions showed a lukewarm response towards the film.
With 892 shows in Mumbai, the film only gathered 15% occupancy, while in Delhi NCR, it only touched 11%. The highest occupancy was observed in Chennai, nearly 30% across the 48 shows. Following the same trend, low occupancy numbers have become a common feature for the film. Pune, with 415 screenings, reported filling only 11.67% of the seats, while Bengaluru filled 16% across its 277 shows.
