The industry, keeping in mind analysts Sultan collection Sunday predictions in mind, eyeing another huge windfall, and even though there was a huge momentum, it could not live up to mammoth expectations that had built up, largely because of the larger-than-life persona that Salman Khan has built up.

Having said that, while predictions and expectations are in the realm of conjecture, the reality is that Sultan managed yet another tremendous day at the B.O. Significantly, this means the film is set up for a triumphant run over the next few days. While such high figures are unlikely to be generated again, the focus will shift elsewhere – to first week’s collections, and lifetime earnings as well as Sultan ranking vis a vis other top grossing movies.

Collections usually end up plunging to single digits,for most movies, but those with superstars in them manage to keep it in the low double digits. Considering the past few days, Salman Khan’s Sultan box office collections are likely to drop to half or just a little below that.
