Sultan first day collection: The grand nature of its debut in cinemas has put Salman Khan’s Sultan in a sweet spot. With mammoth collections, Sultan is in a position now even to challenge Shahrukh Khan’s Happy New Year – the final set of numbers is yet to filter in and Sultan has just started its B.O. run.

Sultan box office collections of Rs 36.54 cr just managed to scrape past the opening day of Dhoom 3 collections which were logged at Rs 36.22 crore.
