Released on August 15, Stree 2 shows no signs of slowing down, nearing the Rs 600 crore milestone domestically with an impressive Rs 598.15 crore collection. The horror-comedy, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, has maintained its grip on the box office for six consecutive weeks, outperforming competitors despite new releases.

Film critic Taran Adarsh shared on X, formerly Twitter, “Stree 2 remains the top choice for moviegoers for the sixth straight week, with phenomenal Week 6 Saturday numbers, especially after the boost from #NationalCinemaDay.”

Despite new films like Khel Khel MeinVeda, and The Buckingham MurdersStree 2 continues to dominate, even outshining fresh releases Yudhra and Kahan Shuru Kahan Khatam.

Directed by Amar Kaushik, Stree 2 has become India’s highest-grossing Hindi film, with a worldwide gross of Rs 810 crore. The film is part of Maddock Films’ supernatural universe, which includes hits like Bhediya and Munjya. Fans are already speculating about future installments, with actor Rajkummar Rao hinting that Bhediya 2 may arrive before Stree 3.

With its ongoing success, Stree 2 continues to captivate audiences and solidify its place in Indian cinema.
