The 70th Filmfare Awards are being held on Saturday, October 11, and Ahmedabad is all set to welcome Bollywood like never before. The city’s stage is ready for one of the biggest nights of Indian cinema, and stars are gearing up to make it unforgettable. This year, the show will be hosted by Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar, and fans are already excited to see the duo back. Shah Rukh, in particular, is leaving nothing to chance, rehearsing non-stop for his performance.
Videos from his rehearsal sessions have gone viral on social media. In one clip, Shah Rukh can be seen dancing to Ladki Badi Anjani Hai from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, looking just as energetic and charming as he did back in the 90s. Dressed casually in a grey sweatshirt and cargo pants, he nailed the iconic moves, showing that the King Khan hasn’t lost his magic. Fans gathered outside the EKA Arena, hoping for a sneak peek of the superstar in action.
Rehearsals take fans down memory lane
SRK was also seen performing Tujhe Dekha Toh from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, one of Bollywood’s most loved romantic songs. His energy, expressions, and stage presence brought back memories of the 90s. Videos of him dancing with backup performers are trending on social media, showing him perfectly recreating those iconic moments. Fans are thrilled and can’t wait to watch his full performance on the awards night.

Talking about the honour, SRK said, “From the first time I held the Black Lady in my hands, to sharing countless memories with colleagues and fans over the years, it’s been a journey of love, cinema, and magic. To return as a co-host for the 70th year is truly special, and I promise we’ll make it a night to remember, full of laughter, nostalgia, and celebration of the movies we all love.”
