India has faced a tumultuous year with our national security in question. After facing the tragic Pahalgam terror attack in April, the capital was shaken by another blast near the Red Fort earlier this month. Claiming more than 30 lives in these incidents, this year also marks the 17th year of the tragic 26/11 attacks. To honour the martyrs, brave soldiers, and protect peace, several personalities came together to award those who have supported the cause.
Organised in Mumbai, the Global Peace Honours Award 2025 hosted notable personalities like Shah Rukh Khan, Mukesh Ambani, Nita Mukesh Ambani, and Anant Ambani. Speaking about the value of peace and attempting to lift the spirits of the soldiers and fighters of India. The event was organised by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis’ wife Amruta, in collaboration with the Divyaj Foundation.
Held at the Gateway of India, the event aimed to honour the courage and sacrifice of the 26/11 martyrs and the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack. Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan even mentioned the unfortunate incident of the Delhi terror ttack earlier this month. Along with the ‘Jawan’ actor, Nita Ambani and CM Fadnavis expressed their views too.
What did Shah Rukh Khan say?
In his speech, Khan gave his humble tribute to the “innocent people who lost their lives in the 26/11 terrorist attack, the Pahalgam terrorist attack, and the recent Delhi blasts and my respectful salute to our brave security personnel who were martyred in these attacks.” He went to recite a heartfelt few lines to boost the spirits of the soldiers of the country.
Khan recited, “When someone asks you what you do, say with pride that I protect the country. If someone asks you how much you earn, smile slightly and say, I earn the blessings of 1.4 billion people. And if they turn around and ask you again, Aren’t you ever afraid? Look them in the eye and say, Those who attack us feel it.”

He, then, delivered a message for peace and rid the society of cast, creed, and discrimination in the society. He proposed a walk towards humanity, “so that the martyrdom of our heroes for the peace of our country is not in vain.”
Nita Mukesh Ambani’s message of reverence
Nita Ambani echoed the sentiments of Shah Rukh Khan and expressed that she felt ‘profoundly humbled’ to be in the presence of “our valiant soldiers, our courageous police and the families of our brave martyrs.” She reiterated their honourable sacrifice towards India and said, “For all the martyrs of 26/11, of Pahalgam, of any terror attacks, our hearts will forever be full of gratitude and deep respect. To all of them and their families, I bow my head in reverence.”

The event was also attended by Ranveer Singh. He shared the stage with Women’s World Cup champions who delivered the message of empowerment and equal opportunity.
