Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s fandom around the world is unmatched. His residence in Mumbai, Mannat, which is now undergoing renovation, is the most popular tourist attraction in Bandra. Recently, a video went viral on social media showing content creator Shubham Prajapat making an unusual attempt to enter Mannat and meet the superstar by dressing up as a Zomato delivery agent. Here’s what happened next.

Fan tries to enter Mannat as Zomato delivery agent

The clip, which has been widely reshared and is now viral, starts with Shubham standing outside Mannat, expressing his deep desire to meet Shah Rukh Khan in person. As expected, the bungalow’s tight security did not allow him entry. But he is not bothered by the initial rejection. Shubham then devised an unusual plan to get inside. He placed an order for two cold coffees through the food delivery app, one for himself and another allegedly for Shah Rukh Khan.

Within minutes, a delivery agent arrived with the order. In an unexpected twist, Shubham convinced the actual Zomato rider to let him take over the delivery, requesting his bag to execute the plan. After some hesitation, the rider agreed, handing over the branded bag.

Confidently carrying the bag, Shubham approached Mannat’s main entrance, posing as a delivery executive with an order for the actor. The front gate guard, however, denied him access and instead directed him towards what he described as a “secret back entry” typically used for discreet arrivals.

Believing that he could finally go inside, Shubham hurried to the back door entrance and repeated his story, claiming he had been sent to deliver cold coffee. But the guard at the back gate grew suspicious and asked him to call the person who placed the order. Unable to provide any proof, Shubham’s plan quickly fell apart.

Then the guard then jokingly remarked, “Ek phone karega toh poora coffee wala nachega uske saamne” (If Shah Rukh Khan himself makes a call, the entire coffee shop would dance in excitement).

Is the video old?

Reports suggest the video may have been recorded earlier, as Shah Rukh Khan and his family have moved out of Mannat temporarily due to ongoing renovations. While the influencer’s attempt ultimately failed, the video has garnered exciting reactions online, with fans amused by the lengths some people can go to in order to meet their favourite stars.
