Saiyaara, the debut film of newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, continues its impressive run at the box office as it entered its second week on Monday. Directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Yash Raj Films, the musical romantic drama has now crossed Rs 350 crore in global collections, with strong domestic and international performance.

According to industry estimates, the film earned Rs 9.50 crore (India net) on its second Monday, pushing its domestic total to Rs 256.75 crore. Globally, Saiyaara has minted a whopping Rs 373.7 crore so far, which includes Rs 247.25 crore from India and Rs 77 crore from overseas markets.

Despite being over a week old, the film continues to pull audiences to theatres. On Monday, the overall Hindi occupancy stood at 15.28%, with Chennai leading at 32.50%, followed by Jaipur (27.50%), Bengaluru (22%), and both NCR and Hyderabad (18.50%).

The weekend before the second Monday saw high earnings, with Saiyaara collecting Rs 30 crore on Sunday and Rs 26.5 crore on Saturday, according to box office tracker Sacnilk.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh also applauded the film’s run at the box office. “300 CR? 400 CR? OR MORE? – Saiyaara is on a record-smashing spree… Saiyaara is rewriting the rules of the game… At this stage, no one can confidently predict where its lifetime total will land,” he wrote on social media.

He further added, “Rs 200 cr will be crossed comfortably before Weekend 2 concludes, and with Rs 300 cr well within reach, the big question now is: Can Saiyaara hit Rs 400 cr?”
