The luxurious Rolls-Royce Cullinan Series II

The Rolls-Royce Cullinan Series II is a flagship SUV and as is a given with Rolls-Royce vehicles, it is a sophisticated and premium vehicle, unparalleled in its category. It has an on-road starting price of Rs. 12.45 crores in Mumbai and custom models are likely to fetch an even higher price. Powered by a robust 6.75-litre twin-turbo V12 engine that delivers a formidable 563 bhp and 850 Nm of torque for a powerful and smooth performance, it was named for the largest gem-quality diamond ever discovered: The Cullinan. Discovered in 1905 in South Africa and named after the mine’s owner Thomas Cullinan, it was a whopping 3,106 carats before being cut into nine large diamonds. The two largest gems of the lot are now a part of the British Crown Jewels. The Series II comes with a refreshed illuminated grille, slimmer vertical headlights and optional 23-inch wheels.

Inside, it gets even more opulent with a new ‘spirit of ecstasy clock cabinet’, a redesigned dashboard with a full-width glass panel, a starlight headliner and carefully placed seat perforations. Quality craftsmanship, and state-of-the-art technology are synonymous with this company, offering occupants the legendary “magic carpet ride”.

Badshah’s acquisition of the Cullinan Series II, makes this the second Rolls-Royce in his extensive collection of luxury vehicles the first being the Rolls-Royce Wraith. His fleet of premium automobiles also includes, the Lamborghini Urus, Porsche Cayman, Audi Q8, Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, BMW 640d, Mercedes-Benz S-Class and GLS 350d, cementing his reputation as a connoisseur of high-end cars.

Interestingly enough, despite his collection of expensive cars, Badshah once said in an interview to India Today’s sister channel Lallantop that no car was as good as a Maruti Swift or a Toyota Innova. He said, “Bakwas hai, Swift se badhiya koi gaadi nahi hai (It’s rubbish, no car is better than the Swift). Swift aur Innova se badhiya koi gaadi nahi bani (Swift and Innova are the best cars ever)”
