Aamir Khan’s ‘PK’ has become such a box office collections (entered Rs 200-cr club) hit that its has left this week’s two other releases Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Ugly’ and the Hindi version of the Rajinikanth starrer ‘Lingaa’ running for cover.

With ‘PK’ having maximum shows in multiplexes and single screens, this week’s release Ugly and the Hindi version of the superstar Rajnikanth starrer ‘Lingaa’ seems to have started off on a very dull note. The films have opened to a very low occupancy rate; while ‘PK’ has still been running to packed houses, even in the morning shows. As far as the weekend is concerned, reports suggest that the audience are sure to prefer PK over other releases.

‘PK’ box office collections have been awesome with the film collecting Rs 14.44 crore on Friday and Rs 17.12 crore on Saturday, leaving hardly any room for other releases to make much money. The latest Aamir Khan movie has so far made Rs 214.65 crore at the domestic box office. PK’ entered Rs 200 crore club on Day 9. With this, Aamir Khan became the only actor having three films that have crossed the coveted mark.
