Trouble for Bollywood actor Salman Khan deepens as National Commission for women has summoned the Sultan actor over his ‘rape remark’
Claiming Salman Khan to be unapologetic, NCW Summoned him on 8 July 2016
In a statement NCW chief L Kumaramangalam said “Salman’s letter is not at all conciliatory, there’s not even a hint of an apology”
“In fact he (Salman) tried to find fault with NCW for taking up this issue” Kumaramangalam

Recently, Salman sparked a controversy, when he compared his physical stress to that of raped women. Reacting to which NCW chief had demanded a public apology from the actor.
In his reply over the ‘raped woman’ comment, Salman Khan had sent a mail to NCW through his lawyer, which seemed unapologetic to the NCW chief. The panel chief then said that now the commission is going to take the issue to next level.
“There was no retraction of his (Salman) statement,nor was any apology offered. We’ve summoned him on July 8” said NCW Chairperson Kumaramangalam
