The upcoming OnePlus 15R is all set to be launched in India on 17 December 2025. It will launch along with OnePlus Pad Go 2. Several early leaks suggest the starting price could be in the range of around Rs. 45,000, this will be placing it slightly above its predecessor.
OnePlus 15R Processor
Inside, the 15R is expected to be powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. The final RAM and storage options aren’t fully confirmed yet, but the chipset choice suggests performance close to flagship-level devices.
OnePlus 15R Battery and Faster Charging
One of the major upgrades on the 15R is a big 7,400 mAh battery the largest ever in a OnePlus phone. This means longer battery life for day-long use without frequent charging. The phone is also expected to support 80 W fast wired charging, which should refresh the battery quickly when needed.
OnePlus 15R Display
The OnePlus 15R will have a 1.5K AMOLED display with a 165 Hz refresh rate, just like a premium flagship. This translates to smooth scrolling, fast animations and a better gaming experience. The panel is also said to reach up to 1,800 nits brightness, so outdoor viewing should be good. On the other hand, it can dim down to 1 nit for comfortable night use. Eye-comfort certification is expected too, which could help reduce strain during long usage.
OnePlus 15R Cameras
On the rear, the 15R reportedly carries a dual-camera setup, with a 50 MP main lens and an 8 MP ultrawide lens. While the complete sensor details are not yet official, the phone is confirmed to support 4K video recording at 120 frames per second. This is a capability that previously was reserved for high-end models. This makes video shooting smoother and more cinematic.
OnePlus 15R Desig and Durability
In terms of build, OnePlus 15R is expected to feature a sleek, flat-edged design with choices like Black and a new Green finish. It may also come with dust and water resistance certifications (IP66/IP68), so it should handle everyday wear and weather reasonably well.
