Lady superstar Nayanthara has announced that her X (formerly Twitter) account has been compromised. On Friday evening, the actress, known for her role in the hit film Jawan, took to her social media handle to inform her followers about the hacking incident and advised them to disregard any unusual or suspicious posts.
In her statement, Nayanthara wrote, “Account has been hacked. Please ignore any unnecessary or strange tweets being posted.”
Celebrating Success of Jawan Before the Hack
The announcement followed her recent tweet celebrating the one-year anniversary of Jawan, in which she expressed her gratitude and excitement about the film’s success.
Released on September 7 of the previous year, Jawan was a blockbuster hit, marking Shah Rukh Khan’s first collaboration with director Atlee. The film, which also featured Nayanthara alongside Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Ridhi Dogra, Lehar Khan, Girija Oak, and Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, became the highest-grossing Bollywood film of the year.
Nayanthara, who made her Bollywood debut with Jawan, also continues to gain acclaim in Tamil cinema with recent appearances in films such as Iraivan and Annapoorani: The Goddess of Food. Fans are advised to stay vigilant and ignore any irregular activities from her X account until the issue is resolved.
