Tommy Lee Jones’ daughter found dead: Hollywood actor Tommy Lee Jones, famously known for his role in ‘Men in Black‘, his daughter, Victoria Jones was found dead in her hotel room on New Year’s Eve. She was 34. Jones was staying in San Fransico when the police arrived at 2:52 AM, as per a TMZ report, responding to a medical emergency report. While she was declared dead upon the authorities’ arrival, the cause of Victoria Jones’ death is unknown.

However, according to People, the San Francisco Fire Department confirmed that ‘an unnamed adult female was found dead at the scene’. The outlet added that the NBC Bay Area reported that the person found in the hotel room is believed to be Victoria and no foul play has been suspected, yet.

Who was Victoria Jones?

Victoria Jones, daughter of Tommy Lee Jones, was the daughter of his first wife, Kimberlea Coughley. A sister to brother, Austin (43), Victoria was born in North Carolina, USA, in April 1987. Growing up largely out of the spotlight, Jones appeared in a few roles, as a child actor, in the early 2000s. There has been no official statement from Jones’ family, who have been known to lead a rather private life.

Victoria, closely associated with the works of her father, appeared in a couple of Tommy Lee Jones movies. In 2002, she appeared as one of the ‘neuralysed’ characters in Tommy Lee Jones’ Men in Black II, who plays the iconic Agent K, opposite Will Smith. Tommy Lee Jones’ daughter also appeared as a supporting character in his directorial work ‘The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada’ in 2005′. With a short-lived appearance in ‘Sorry, Haters’ Victoria starred alongside Robin Wright and Abdel Kechiche in the drama. In the same year, with no notable appearances post 2005, she appeared as a cheerleader in the TV series ‘One Tree Hill’.

Tommy Lee Jones, an Academy Award winner, is known for his five decades of his career in Hollywood. Winning his first Oscar for ‘The Fugitive’, he famously starred in ‘No Country for Old Men’, ‘JFK’, and ‘Lonesome Dove’. He also secured an Emmy win as Gary Gilmore for ‘The Executioner’s Song’ in 1982.
