Kiccha Sudeep’s action-thriller Mark opened amid a lot of buzz among fans of the Kannada actor on December 25, 2025. The actor’s second collaboration with director Vijay Kartikeyaa, after Max, is being received well by the audience. The early box office estimates show the film has already collected Rs 4 crore in India within a few hours of opening. Sudeep plays Ajay Markandaya, a suspended police officer, who rises against anti-social elements, gangsters, and corrupt politicians. Netizens feel the film is a complete entertainment package with tonnes of whistle-worthy moments.

‘Not worth the hype’

Not everyone loved the movie, though, and some felt it could have done better with logic.
