Sunny Deol’s Jaat, which has been doing significantly well since its release, is still doing great after the release of Kesari Chapter 2. The film, directed by Gopichand Mallineni, has found its different fan base and earned a respectable amount on its second Sunday.

On its day 11, the second Sunday, Jaat collected an impressive amount of Rs 5.65 crore. The second Sunday turned out to be one of the best days of the movie. The movie has now crossed the Rs 70 crore milestone, reaching the total of Rs 74.55 crore. Also, the movie is just a crore away from crossing the box office collection of Gadar, released in 2000, which collected Rs 76.65 crores and turned out to be a blockbuster hit.

The film had an occupancy rate of 22.72% overall. The evening shows filled 31.69% of the space.

Though the film has a regular storyline, as criticized by internet users, it has managed to bring fans into the theaters with its great action sequences and powerful dialogue delivery by actor Sunny Deol. Fans also showed immense love to Randeep Hooda for his good acting as the villain, Ranatunga.

Although the film is performing well at the box office, it is facing stiff competition from Kesari Chapter 2, starring Akshay Kumar. The courtroom drama is attracting a large audience for its great storyline and heated drama. It has also collected more than double the amount collected by Jaat. But the fans who love action still stick to their action star Sunny Deol’s Jaat.
