Rohit Saraf shot to fame after his Netflix series ‘Mismatched’ gained immense popularity among the rom-com-loving audience of India. Recently seen in Bollywood director Farah Khan’s viral YouTube vlog, his Mumbai home was nothing short of luxurious.
As Saraf prepares for his upcoming film ‘Sunny sanskari ki Tulsi Kumari’ set for a Dusshera release, here’s a quick sneak-peek into Saraf’s humble abode. Blending comfort, modern elegance, and personal style, his warm home welcomed Farah Khan and his cook, Dilip, who is nothing short of an Internet sensation himself.
Dominating wooden accents
Before you meet the brains behind the decor, Farah Khan showed Saraf’s living room with great enthusiasm. Featuring deep, polished, dark wooden floors, the room features timeless cream-coloured walls. But, your attention is drawn towards the statement leather sofa which ties the room together creating a warm ambiance. There is a braided money tree as it opens to a green balcony, not only adding the element of nature but also creating a welcoming and serene environment.
The accent walls are the highlight of the rooms. Featuring an aesthetic and rugged red-brick feature wall in Saraf’s bedroom, it also features dark cabinets, continuing the wooden aesthetic of the space. This Mumbai home is not designed by a celebrity designer, but Rohit Saraf’s mother, Anita, herself. Saraf proudly shared the fact with the Bollywood hotshot in her vlog.
Similarly, in the dining area, the Sarafs have a classic wooden dining set with a large gold-framed mirror that visually expands the room and adds a luxurious flair. The signature light source comes from a hanging pendant chandelier and adds a quirky flair to a home dominated by wood accents.
Farah Khan’s vlog was layered with family moments, laughter, and candid chats. Rohit Saraf‘s mother also made litti chokha for her guests.
