Ranveer Singh’s upcoming action film, Dhurandhar, is all set for a December release. Featuring high-octane action sequences, the Hindi-language espionage drama has been directed by Aditya Dhar. With several big names, it is set to feature superstars Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, and Arjun Rampal, among others.
Speaking to Anupama Chopra, for the Hollywood Reporter India, Yami Gautam and Emraan Hashmi opened up about their latest release, Haq. The actress and wife of the Dhurandhar director opened up about the first time she read through the early parts of the film’s script. She also claimed, “I really believe that Dhurandhar is going to be one of the last multi-starrers,” inviting nods in agreement from both Chopra and Hashmi.
When Yami saw the Dhurandhar script – ‘It moved me’
Recalling from when Gautam first saw the script, while “still shooting for Article 370,” she had access to read through parts of it. She said that Aditya Dhar asked her, “Would you like to read something?”
It was only later that she realised, after reading, how moved she was. “I was so moved, I had tears in my eyes,” she told Chopra. Overwhelmed by the script, she got emotional and told her husband, “This is a really good script, Aditya!” She then added that what Aditya and his team have done with the film, “It is something which we will all remember for a really long time. I think we are in for a very special year-end.”
