Dhurandhar worldwide box office collection day 20: Aditya Dhar’s spy thriller Dhurandhar has had an extremely successful run at the box office. Ending the year on the highest note, Dhurandhar became India’s biggest Bollywood movie of 2025. Surpassing Saiyaara’s opening day record in just a matter of hours, today, it has also crossed Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal lifetime box office collection.

Starring Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna, the stars have taken over social media trends and the big screen alike. With viral soundtracks and easter-egg dialogues, Dhurandhar is no less than a cultural phenomenon. With a consistent run at the box office, the multi-star spy thriller only dipped below Rs 20 crore in its third week after a Rs 72 crore third weekend.

Dhurandhar collection day 20: Box office update

As the film heads into its third Wednesday, Dhurandhar continues to script one milestone after another at the box office. Worldwide, Dhurandhar has so far crossed the Rs 920 crore mark, comfortably beyond Animal’s lifetime box office collection, which remained steady at Rs 915 crore.

According to Sacnilk, the Ranveer Singh–Akshaye Khanna starrer kicked off its run with a solid Rs 28 crore on opening day, followed by Rs 32 crore on Saturday and a roaring Rs 43 crore on Sunday. With that, the film comfortably crossed the Rs 100 crore mark in its opening weekend. Even the typical weekday dip couldn’t slow it down, as collections stayed above Rs 20 crore on Monday.

By the end of its first week, Dhurandhar had amassed Rs 207 crore, before going on to outdo Pushpa 2’s second-week numbers, an achievement reserved for only a handful of blockbusters. The second weekend alone added another Rs 110 crore, taking the total to nearly Rs 300 crore and strengthening its momentum overseas as well.

The film surged past Rs 400 crore by the close of week two. Week three began on a steady note with Rs 22 crore, followed by a strong Rs 34.5 crore haul on Saturday. The third weekend tally rose by another Rs 72 crore. Despite dipping below Rs 20 crore on Monday, the spy thriller’s cumulative total stood tall at Rs 607.25 crore by day 19, after a Rs 18 crore collection.

Featuring a powerful ensemble that includes Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal and R Madhavan, Dhurandhar is now facing stiff global competition from James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire and Ash, as it takes the entire Avatar franchise beyond $1 billion.
