Amid this, we take a look at the cast salary of the movie. Aamir Khan, who is seen in a cameo role in the film, added to more talk around the movie. Reason? The actor who appears as a mafia don named Daaha, is said to have charged Rs 20 crore for the brief appearance.
Insiders, however, have dismissed the claims. “Aamir Khan has a lot of love and respect for Rajinikanth and the team of Coolie. He had instantly said yes to the project without even hearing the complete narration. This cameo is his way of showing his love to the team, and he has not charged anything for his role,” a source told India Today.

At the centre of the crime drama is superstar Rajinikanth, portraying Deva, the protagonist. According to Deccan Herald, the actor has charged a massive paycheck of Rs 200 crore fee. Reports suggest his original remuneration was Rs 150 crore, but it was revised after the Tamil film’s record-breaking pre-sales numbers.
Nagarjuna
Telugu actor Nagarjuna plays Simon in the movie. He is said to have charged Rs 10 crore for the role.
Sathyaraj
Known for his portrayal of Kattappa in Baahubali, Sathyaraj steps in as Rajasekhar in Coolie. His remuneration is reportedly Rs 5 crore.
Upendraa
Kannada star Upendraa plays the role of Kaleesha in Rajinikanth’s Coolie. According to reports, he has charged Rs 5 crore for the role.
Shruthi Haasan
Shruthi Haasan plays Preethi in the film and has reportedly received ₹Rs 4 crore for her performance.
Lokesh Kanagaraj and Anirudh Ravichander
Director Lokesh Kanagaraj, known for delivering commercial hits, has been reportedly paid Rs 50 crore for the project. Music composer Anirudh Ravichander, who reunited with Rajinikanth after the 2023 blockbuster Jailer, is said to have earned Rs 15 crore for his soundtrack work on Coolie.
