The 9th edition of Bigg Boss Tamil just premiered on Sunday Oct 5, at 6 PM and actor Vijay Sethupathi returned as the show’s host. He welcomed 20 contestants into the iconic Bigg Boss home who have at one point or another, been in the spotlight. Though the theme for this season has not bet been revealed yet, futuristic sculptures, unicorns, arched windows and stunning light fixtures point towards something alien.

Subiksha: Another content creator but a beat different from the “influencers” ones on this list. Subiksha is a fisherwoman who became popular due to her lifestyle and relatable videos.
Aadhirai: Aadhirai, known for role in Bigil opposite Vijay, has established herself as a film and television actress now.
Tushaar: Social media influencer Tushaar is famous for his Korean Oppa-inspired appearance and the regular fashion statements that he makes
Diwakar: Famously known as Watermelon Star, Diwakar is a popular content creator known for his hilarious skits and funny videos.
VJ Parvathy: VJ Parvathy affectionately called Paaru, is a television presenter who became famous because of her lively personality.
Kani Thiru: Kani Thiru’s claim to fame came from winning the second season of the cooking show, “Cooku With Comali”. She is also connected to the industry as she is the daughter of director Agathiyan. She has also acted in features like Parachute and Valli Mayil.
RJ Kemy: RJ Kemy, alias, Vyishali Kemkar also rose to fame through the cooking show “Cooku With Comali” where she was a favorite among contestants.
Ramya Joo: Traditional dancer Ramya Joo is a dance influencer who gained came under the spotlight due to her dancing prowess.
Apsara CJ: Apsara CJ is a transgender model from Thiruvananthapuram who is known for her cat walk skills and glamorous photoshoots.
Praveen Rajdev: With shows like Kizhakku Vaasal and Eeramana Rojave, Praveen Rajdev is a familiar face for television enthusiasts.
Pravin Gandhi: Filmmaker and actor, Pravin Gandhi is most known for his work in Ratchagan, Jodi, Star, and Pulipaarva. He is known to say controversial things off-screen.
Viyana: Model and influencer Viyana is well known for her ramp walks and photoshoots like Apsara CJ.
