Also starring Sanjay Dutt, the action-packed drama also received a string of poor reviews on the Internet. Despite of the intense action sequences, Baaghi 4 fizzled out its star-power effect in its second week. Starting with a Rs 1.25 collection on the second Friday, the A. Harsha directorial showed a 48% increase in net collection. Baaghi 4, with RS 1.85 crore on Day 9, had an overall box office collection of Rs 47.6 crore so far.

Baaghi 4 box office day 9: Shows drop in number

Dropping from 5000 shows on the opening day, Baaghi 4 saw a significant drop in occupancy rates across India. With just 323 shows in Delhi NCR, the Tiger Shroff-Sonam Bajwa film saw only 15% occupancy in theatres. A significant audience came from Chennai across the two theatres screening the film. Overall, Surat, Bhopal, and Kolkata showed meagre response, with Pune and Mumbai sharing the spot in the charts.

Also starring Sanjay Dutt, Harnaaz Sandhu, Shreyas Talpade, Saurabh Sachdeva, Upendra Limaye, and Sheeba Akashdeep Sabir in key roles, Baaghi 4 is a Sajid Nadiadwala production. With a 2.6 IMDb rating, online reviews have not been kind to Tiger Shroff’s latest release. While they have praised his dedication to the role, the lousy plot has also been pointed out. Fans eagerly awaited Sanjay Dutt’s entry on the big screen and the action sequences the film contains.

Baaghi 4: Lesser-known facts

Baaghi 4, ahead of its worldwide release, faced 23 cuts from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) for the portrayal of violence, insensitivity towards disability, and promotion of tobacco.

Did you know that Tiger Shroff is not the lead actor’s real name? He was given the name Jai Hemant Shroff at birth. Several reports and online speculation even found the film to be a remake of a 2013 Tamil film, Ainthu Ainthu Ainthu (555).
