Baaghi 4 Box Office Collection Day 7: Bollywood’s latest action-drama, starring Tiger Shroff and Sanjay Dutt, has left the cinemas deserted. Despite a strong opening day of Rs 12 crore, Baaghi 4 saw a more than 50% decline box office collections in its first week. Released on September 5, Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi has grossed Rs 44.5 crore so far, as per Sacnilk reports.
The industry tracker also revealed that worldwide, Baaghi 4 grossed Rs 63.5 crore with an exclusive Rs 10.25 crore collection from international screens. With immense star power, the A. Harsha directorial also stars Harnaaz Sandhu and Sonam Bajwa in key roles.
After a Rs 12 crore opening day, after grossing Rs 19.25 crore on its opening weekend, the Baaghi-verse flick struggled to find a base among other upcoming films. While it has crossed the Sidharth Malhotra-Janvhi Kapoor rom-com Param Sundari, Baaghi 4’s box office collection saw a 55% decline in weekdays. On Day 7, it collected just above Rs 2 crore, displaying a 20% decline in box office numbers from Day 6.
Baaghi Box Office Day 7: Occupancy drops
The fourth film in the Baaghi series, as Tiger Shroff returns as Ronnie, received an ‘A’ rating from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). For the display of intense violence, promotion of tobacco, and insensitivity towards specially abled individuals, more than 20 cuts were suggested. However, audiences were sure to praise the action sequences starring Tiger Shroff.
As occupancy rates reduce significantly, only Lucknow, Jaipur, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Delhi NCR manage to cross 10%. Other states had nearly empty halls screening Baaghi 4, making the overall occupancy rate 9% across Hindi shows.
Also starring Shreyas Talpade, Saurabh Sachdeva, Upendra Limaye, and Sheeba Akashdeep Sabir in supporting roles, fans have been rather disappointed by the Sajid Nadiadwala production.
Baaghi 4: Tiger Shroff movie reviews
After stooping to a 2.6 rating on IMDb, the film has received a string of poor responses. “Sometimes a film manages to go wrong on almost every front, and this movie is one of those unfortunate examples,” read a review on the platform. Claiming that the plot is disjointed, Baaghi 4 “meanders without direction, offering predictable twists and shallow conflicts that fail to generate any real interest.”
“Emotional scenes that should have carried weight come across as unintentionally funny because of exaggerated expressions and forced delivery,” said a review condemning the acting skills. “I have seen all the Baaghi films, hoping each time they might recapture the raw, fun energy of the first one,” said a Baaghi loyalist online.
