After the ban row, yet another controversy has hit Aamir Khan's 'PK' movie, this time about its box office collections, which have created an all-time record in India. (PTI)

With no other consequential movie releasing, Aamir Khan starrer ‘PK’ has grabbed all the attention for the third week running and this has helped its box office collections in reaching Rs 320.48 crore.

Exhibitor and distributor Akshaye Rathi predicts ‘PK’ could have a lifetime collection of Rs 340 crore.

“It would have done better had all the religious uprisings not occurred. Since the theatres were being vandalised at certain places by the religious protesters, many avoided going to the cinema halls, thus affecting the collections a bit,” Rathi said.
