Superstar Aamir Khan’s ‘PK’ movie box office collections have been riding the crest of the wave ever since its release, and has set new benchmarks for Bollywood movies along the way – it has completed a 3-week run since then.

Overall, with ‘PK’ Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma powered film has grossed more than Rs 460 crore in box office collections worldwide in nearly three weeks.

‘PK’ box office collections now stand at Rs 320.48 crore in India in three weeks, including Rs 2.96 crore from Day 21.

The overseas business of the movie is estimated to be over Rs 150.57 crore as per latest available reports. Its is now only behind ‘Dhoom 3’ (Rs 191.04 cr) and ‘3 Idiots’ (Rs 156.1 cr). Interestingly, Aamir-Khan starrers hold the top 3 slots in the earning list.

After achieving the distiction of being the biggest movie of Bollywood by collecting Rs 300 crore in the domestic market, ‘PK’ is now within striking distance of the next big target – the Rs 500+ cr gross box office collections of Aamir Khan’s own ‘Dhoom 3’.

The question now in everone’s mind is whether ‘PK’ jugguernaut will continue into the 4th week as three weeks after its release, finally, a big Bollywood film would be arriving in the form of ‘Tevar’, starring Arjun Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha, which might take away multiplex space from the Aamir Khan-Anushka Sharma starrer.
