There are more misses than hits in November for Bollywood, as most movies performed poorly at the box office. While Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh’s romcom has performed decently with Rs 66.24 cr collections in 13 days, as per industry tracker Sacnilk, film industry is still looking for its next big hit. A series of duds like Haq, The Girlfriend, Jatadhara to the recent releases Razneesh Ghai’s 120 Bahadur and Milap Zaveri’s Mastiii 4 have failed to garner revenue at the ticket windows.
Kantara: Chapter 1, released on Dussehra, turned October into a good month for box office collections, as the film surpassed earnings of all the previous 2025 films, earning Rs 621.84 crore overall. Meanwhile, Gujarati movie Laalo Krishna Sada Sahaayate is the only silver lining right now as the film made on the budget of Rs 50 lakh, is inching towards Rs 75 crore, with 14,000% profit margin.
120 Bahadur vs Mastiii 4: Which film is winning the box office race?
None of the movies has set the cash registers ringing. Despite having big stars, both the films, fail to touch even Rs 20 crore mark in six days. Farhan Akhtar has done better with Bhaag Milkha Bhaag (Rs 108.93 crore India net), Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (Rs 89.98 cr India net), and Rock On (Rs 25.30 crore India net).
As far as Mastiii 4 is concerned, the film may become the least successful film of the three-film-old franchise. Grand Masti, the second installment of the Masti franchise, has earned the most with Rs 102.21 crore collections worldwide. The original Masti could make Rs 35 crore in India, while Great Grand Masti collected Rs 32.25 crore, according to Bollywood Hungama. It is yet to be seen what the overall fate of the latest installment would be.
Comparing 120 Bahadur and Mastiii 4, both films have turned out to be disappointing so far. While the war film started slow and picked up in the weekend, the earnings have been a little over crore on each of the weekdays post that. Mastiii 4 didn’t see a growth even in weekend and the film’s collections are far from encouraging.
Verdict
Overall, 120 Bahadur is ahead of Mastiii 4 right now with Rs 14 crore collections as per Sacnilk. The latter on the other hand has collected Rs 12.81 crore.
